Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is the primary international airport for Vancouver, B.C.
Public Transportation
The Canada Line is the most efficient transportation to downtown Vancouver. From YVR to downtown in under 30 minutes. The train can be accessed from both the International and Domestic Terminals.
When travelling to downtown, exit at City Centre Station. Take the escalator from the train platform, then continue walking straight ahead until you see the second set of escalators. Take those to street level; you will be at the corner of Georgia and Granville streets. Turn left and walk three blocks to Burrard St. The Hyatt will be across the street to your right.
All transit users traveling on the Canada Line leaving YVR are subject to a $5 Canada Line YVR AddFare in addition to the regular zone fare.
If you are buying a single adult ticket you do not need to go to a ticket machine. Save time and go paper-free: you can tap to pay with your contactless debit or credit card right at the fare gate. You must use the same card to tap out when you exit at the destination station.
On weekends and evenings (after 6:30pm), all Skytrain travel is a single zone fare.
More information on Fare Zones
Lyft, Uber, and KABU are authorized providers of Ride Share App services at YVR.
There are three pick up locations at YVR:
The Main Terminal is located on Level 2
From Arrivals on Level 2, go up to Level 3, and walk towards International departures. Look for signs that say "Canada Line" located between the Domestic and International Terminals (Link Building). Take the escalator (or elevator) up to Level 4, where you will follow the covered walkway to the SkyTrain Station.
